The Gift feature allows you to transfer a portion of your Digi Gold balance as a gift to someone else—friends, family, or loved ones—instantly and securely.
You can gift Digi Gold to anyone who has a valid mobile number & email ID. The recipient does not need to be a My Digi Gold member in advance—they need to download the app or visit mydigigold.com to enrol and claim the gold if they’re not registered.

- Maximum: Subject to your available Digi Gold balance or as per applicable KYC norms.
My Digi Gold Gifting is a feature that allows users to gift gold digitally to friends or family through the My Digi Gold platform. The sender can send a certain amount of his/her accumulated gold (in grams), which is then transferred to the recipient’s My Digi Gold account on his/her acceptance.
Here’s how it works:
The recipient receives a notification via SMS and/or email with instructions to claim their gifted gold. Once they accept it, the gold is added to their My Digi Gold wallet.
Absolutely. All transactions are end-to-end encrypted and logged for traceability. A digital invoice is generated for every gift transaction.
Yes. Once a gift transfer transaction is confirmed, it can be cancelled until it’s acknowledged or accepted by the recipient.
Yes. You will receive a digital confirmation along with a gift invoice, which will also be downloadable in your gift history section.
Currently, the gift feature is free of charge. However, this is subject to change based on platform policies.
Currently, the recipient should acknowledge or reject the Gold Gift within 72 hrs. Post that it would be expired and returned to the sender.
