The Gift feature allows you to transfer a portion of your Digi Gold balance to someone else—friends, family, or loved ones—instantly and securely.
You can gift Digi Gold to anyone who has a valid mobile number or email ID. The recipient does not need to be a My Digi Gold customer in advance—they will be invited to enroll and claim the gold if they’re not registered.
- Minimum: 0.01 gram
- Maximum: Subject to your available Digi Gold balance or as per applicable KYC norms.
- My Digi Gold Gifting is a feature that allows users to gift gold digitally to friends or family through the My Digi Gold platform. The sender can send a certain amount of his/her accumulated gold (in grams), which is then transferred to the recipient’s My Digi Gold account.
Here’s how it works:
The recipient receives a notification via SMS and/or email with instructions to claim their gifted gold. Once they accept it, the gold is added to their My Digi Gold wallet.
Absolutely. All transactions are end-to-end encrypted and logged for traceability. A digital invoice is generated for every gift transaction.
Yes. Once a gift transfer transaction is confirmed, it can be cancelled until it’s acknowledged or accepted by the recipient.
Yes. You will receive a digital confirmation along with a gift invoice, which will also be logged in your gift history section.
Currently, the gift feature is free of charge. However, this is subject to change based on platform policies.
Currently, the recipient should acknowledge or reject the Gold Gift within 48-72 hrs. Post that it would be expired and return it to the sender.
